Artisan Liqueurs, English Orchard
In these strange and unprecedented time most of us have had more time to reflect and watch the winter finally fold away and the nights become shorter. Nature is oblivious to this human pandemic, and if anything appears to be enjoying the cleaner air, the quiet roads and the planeless skies. For us at Tipsy Wight the foraging and growing season is well underway. We always start by picking elderflowers from our woodlands in May, and then come the blackberries and the hedgerow fruits, then the orchard fruits and finally the sloeberries in late autumn.
More than ever our philosophy of producing beautiful products from local ingredients in a sustainable way is resonating with everyone we work with. We have received dozens of emails from people telling us that they are enjoying local produce more than ever, supporting local farmshops and small food and drink producers. We are sure that this will continue as we slowly come out of lockdown.
To celebrate local produce, we have launched a new collection, Old English Orchard, a gift set that contains some of our favourite flavours from an English Orchard. This includes Apricot, Cherry, Damson, Medlar and of course our multi-award winning Quince vodka liqueur.
